The Senior Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for data center customer backup power communication interfacing and Building Management System (BMS) remote monitoring integration.

Responsibilities
• Researching new materials and competitive products. Organizing, coordinating, and executing the building, testing, and analysis of prototypes.
• Assisting supply specialists and buyers with supplier development and supplier performance. Overseeing the efforts of drafting and testing specialists.
�� Developing and documenting functional requirements and translating into detail design documents. Participating in buy-build analysis for product components.
• Participating in and supporting proposal preparation, cost estimates, and technical reports.
 

What you have:
Degree Requirement
Minimum bachelor’s degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science preferred

Technical Excellence: Knowledge of control systems communication and application
Level Extensive Experience:
•  Experience with RS-485, J1939, and ethernet communication networks
• MODBUS, CAN, and TCP/IP communication protocol application experience
• Diesel genset applications experience preferred
• Extensive knowledge of test procedures and test equipment
