Global Travel & Lifestyle Services (GTLS) is a critical element of the value proposition of the American Express premium Card product strategy. We are focused on delivering Travel and Lifestyle servicing and benefits that exceed the needs of our Card Members.
The incumbent will play an important role in shaping strategies across the organization to help drive results. The successful candidate will be expected to provide thought and executional leadership on GS relationship management support, organizational effectiveness, colleague engagement, completion of mandatory requirements across the organization & strategic priorities.

Reporting to the SVP of GTLS, this role provides strategic and tactical support to the Executive Office. The incumbent will handle a broad range of complex business and management challenges, collaborating with a variety of business partners across GS, and across our global organization.
Role Responsibilities:
- Drive a superior discipline in utilizing project management tools in managing all key initiatives that impact operations from project prioritization through all phases of the project lifecycle, identify and implement controls to ensure top compliance performance.
- Ability to lead brainstorming sessions, Deep Dives with Senior Leaders, LRP creation and intervention.
- Deep involvement in planning process with GPCO and Finance.
- Contribute to impactful and engaging presentations & engagement activities such as Monthly Performance Reviews, Senior Executive Management Deep Dives, Strategic Projects, and Town Halls.
- Coordinate execution of outcomes from planning sessions, and key initiatives from sessions with GTLS Teams, GS priorities, and Enterprise Strategy plans.
- Have a good understanding of Call Center Management, budget components and trends, tech investments, LRP priorities, and Travel KPIs and MIS to lead to meaningful representation of the LOB.
- Help the Travel & Lifestyle Global Servicing achieve compliance goals by coordinating and tracking related activities.
- Partner closely with multiple teams including GTLS Operations, TLS and GS Capabilities, Global Learning and Knowledge Management, LOBCO, GCO, CA&C, GPCO, US Consumer and ICS on implementation of initiatives.
- Support the Colleague Engagement strategy for Travel & Lifestyle Global Servicing, including Town Halls, engagement activities, market visits, etc.
- Coordinate administrative task for GTLS (i.e. WFA, Virtual work arrangement requests, Hiring requests).
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of travel experience is required.
- At least 5 years of work experience in strategic planning, business planning, and people leadership.
- Deep technical understanding of our architecture and all core call center management metrics.
