Purpose

This position exists in the company to ensure executive and long-term incentive compensation programs are competitive and designed to attract, retain, and motive leadership talent while supporting shareholder value creation. These efforts will ensure that our executive compensation programs, policies, and practices support the company’s strategic objectives by leveraging current industry trends. 

This position will serve as a subject matter expert in the executive compensation space and requires experience in strategy, design, implementation, and administration of short- and long-term incentives, job evaluations, salary increases, salary surveys, executive compensation, international compensation, sales compensation, financial/tax treatment of compensation programs, equity administration, proxy disclosure and analysis, and other specialized areas of compensation.

As an expert in the executive compensation field, this position is expected to effectively manage global projects, interact with senior management, and provide consultative advice on technical compensation and executive compensation matters.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed market analyses using survey data and proxy peer group benchmarking to evaluate executive and senior leader compensation
  • Develop recommendations for base salary, bonus targets, equity grants, and long-term incentive plan (LTIP) designs
  • Assist in the development, modeling, and administration of LTIPs, including performance-based and time-based equity programs
  • Support design enhancements, administration, and governance of the company’s Deferred Compensation Plan
  • Evaluate plan effectiveness and alignment with company performance and shareholder value creation
  • Support the annual equity grant cycle, off-cycle equity requests, and vesting events in collaboration with legal, finance, and HR business partners
  • Ensure accuracy of data and compliance with plan provisions and regulatory requirements
  • Compile and prepare executive compensation materials for review by the Compensation Committee and Board of Directors
  • Develop clear, data-driven presentations and briefing materials for executive leadership
  • Support the preparation of the annual proxy statement and CD&A disclosure
  • Partner with internal Legal, Finance, and Payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting and public filings
  • Maintain relationships with external consultants and advisors to monitor industry trends, regulatory updates, and emerging practices in executive compensation
  • Responsible for the governance, oversight, and strategic design of international equity compensation programs
  • Recommend changes for all executive compensation, stock compensation, and deferred compensation plans to enhance competitiveness, align to the company’s strategy, and ensure compliance both in the U.S. and internationally
  • Utilize data analytics to solve complex problems and identify solutions
  • Involvement in the job evaluation and market benchmarking of key roles within the organization

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business, Finance or related field with 7+ years experience
  • Compensation experience (incentive plan design, long-term equity plans, benchmarking, document preparation)
  • Team player
  • Strong attention to detail

  • Financially minded
  • Microsoft Office – mandatory (Excel & PowerPoint are critical skills)
