Job Description

Reporting to a VP of Strategy & Operations in Global Product, this role will drive reporting and business cadences for a large portfolio of products in Global Product’s Applications and Services organization.  Products managed by the org cover core Visa services – credential management, including tokenization, and processing services.  The ideal candidate will be a structured, analytical thinker with excellent communication skills and a strong interest in how products are developed and delivered.  The candidate should be comfortable interfacing with people of different levels, be highly organized and able to proactively identify and resolve issues. 

We are seeking a Product Operations Manager who enjoys digging into the numbers in an effort to drive operational performance, both globally and regionally, in a complex, matrixed environment.  The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, highly collaborative team player who is proactive at identifying and resolving issues.

Core Responsibilities

  • Deliver reporting & analysis for executive updates, scorecards, product performance, and other ad hoc reports.  Aligning leadership on objectives and key results (OKRs) and ensuring proper tracking.  Coordinating and collating data from business operations team members embedded within product teams in the portfolio.
  • Support ongoing alignment and transparency on roadmap priorities with Applications and Services product leadership and stakeholders such as Technology, Regional Product, VAS and CMS.  Support the tracking of top initiatives and new development, and flagging overlaps or ambiguous areas
  • Prepping agendas and content to support leadership getting to thoughtful discussions and firm decisions during executive meetings, quarterly business reviews and for large scale All Hands
  • Supporting workforce management in partnership with HR and Finance
  • Working closely with Technology for joint Product/Tech delivery improvements - finding areas of opportunity for increased efficiency.  E.g.  right level of joint goals, assessing overlaps or duplication in services

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Prior experience in Product Management, Product Operations, Business Operations and/or Consulting
  • Experience with Jira, Jira Align a plus


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Ability to collate disparate sources of information and synthetize to key themes and takeaways
  • Attention to detail and ownership of work product, drive things to completion
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse team and produce time sensitive deliverables
  • Comfortable with metrics and assembling scorecards or reports at various altitudes – quantitative analysis paired with strong critical thinking questioning the value, the insight driven by the numbers
  • Demonstrates basic knowledge of problem-solving methods to inform an approach or framework to tackling a workstream
  • Identifies opportunities for strategic, operational, and organizational improvements
