We are currently seeking a highly motivated scientist with extensive expertise in in vivo skills to support immunology, inflammation, and autoimmune disease area as part of the In vivo Pharmacology team in Cambridge, MA. The successful candidate must have extensive experience in executing on rodent models. Experience working with autoimmune disease models is desirable. This individual will interact seamlessly with other scientists and functional groups within a drug discovery team to conduct the in vivo PoC studies for small and large molecule programs in the Immunoscience Portfolio.
The candidate will be expected to run established in vivo protocols and with supervision develop new mouse models.
Job Requirements:
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years or Master’s degree with 2+ years work experience in the field of biology, immunology or related scientific discipline in an academic or industry setting.
Key Qualifications & Experience
- Extensive hands-on experience in rodent dosing (IP, IV, PO, etc.) and tissue collection, is a must.
- Expert in the use of software to support data analysis, including basic statistics, such as GraphPad Prism.
- Must be able to apply knowledge gained from literature and working experience to contribute towards novel model development.
- Industry experience desirable.
- Experience in executing autoimmune disease models is desirable.
- Dedicated to working in a team-oriented environment to contribute to shared project and organizational goals.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced drug discovery environment with enthusiasm and persistence regardless of challenges.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to effectively communicate both oral and written scientific results and conclusions to peers, supervisor and department teams.
