Counselor - Womens Residential - Part Time (18hrs/week)

Impact Life is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Part-Time Counselor to join our Women's Residential team. This role is crucial in providing support to women in our residential recovery program, focusing on individualized care and empowerment. As a part-time counselor, you will be responsible for facilitating group therapy sessions and offering one-on-one counseling to help women navigate their recovery journey.

Location:

• The Sanctuary at Impact Life Farm - Women’s Program, Seaford, DE

Hours:

• 18 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling services to women participating in the residential program, ensuring a supportive and therapeutic environment.
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each participant.
• Conduct regular assessments of participants' progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of counseling sessions and participant progress.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other professionals to coordinate care for participants.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field required.
• Certification as a CADC or CAADC preferred.
• Actively pursuing professional licensure in mental health or substance abuse counseling.
• Previous experience in a counseling role within healthcare or recovery settings is highly desirable.
