We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineering at the Air Management Systems site in Windsor Locks, CT. In this role, you will collaborate with a top-tier team to ensure the highest standard of product quality and contribute to our goal of becoming the leading aerospace company globally.

What You Will Do

  • Provide technical guidance to support and maintain a strong working relationship with the operations team.

  • Collaborate on investigations and analyze hardware/assembly concerns causing quality and delivery issues.

  • Determine the proper disposition of nonconforming material when participating in Material Review Board (MRB) activities.

  • Generate, maintain, and provide quality metrics to the Air Management team and participate in the execution of quality improvement programs.

  • Establish and maintain customer relations for the different part families related to Air Management Systems.

  • Serve as a liaison to the government and customer representatives for the quality discipline.

  • Lead teams to investigate the root cause of customer escapes and non-conformances and determine appropriate corrective/preventive actions.

  • Supervising quality inspectors.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience

• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to aerospace quality management.

  • Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve quality objectives.

  • RTX MRB Authority/MRB Authority preferred.

  • Experience communicating metrics and trends to operation teams, management and leadership.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Customer facing experience.
