About the role

As the Employee Engagement Program Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and improving initiatives that ensure a unified and cohesive experience for Buyer Risk Prevention employees. You’ll oversee an existing internal communications and engagement program and find ways to improve it for our global employees. You will work closely with key partners and manage the communication strategy, creating workback plans, diving into customer feedback, and drawing insights to make improvements and define KPIs. You will be a strong writer as the owner for internal communications and will develop partnerships with other Communications SMEs across SPS and Amazon.

Key job responsibilities
As an Employee Engagement Program Manager, you’ll help manage strategic and tactical internal communications for the Buyer Risk Prevention organization. The ideal candidate must be a team player, able to act independently, have exemplary writing skills, a proactive work ethic, and a talent for developing creative approaches to difficult communications challenges.
Key job responsibilities:
• Be the employee experience advocate, representing and protecting this through all strategies and decision-making
Maintain organization wikis, slack channels, and announcements.
• Authors and publish employee facing newsletters.
• Write, review, and manage business-specific email communications, updates, change announcements, and ad hoc communications
• Lead change management efforts
• Coordinate the delivery of content across internal channels
• Oversee the strategic editorial calendar and capture team metrics for reporting to key internal stakeholders and informing forward-looking communications strategies
• Proactively build trust and maintain strong, cross-functional relationships with key internal stakeholders
• Roll up sleeves and get work done, even when at times it’s outside the scope of the job
• Ensure that employees across the organization are actively engaged and feel included in the organization’s work, and embedding organizational culture


About the team
This role supports all employees across Buyer Risk Prevention and sits on the Employee Excellence team within the Payment Risk Operations organization. The team is made up of program managers led by a Manager, Program Management and covers a broad remit of programs including, Internal Communications, Employee Experience, Change Management, Employee Sentiment Data Analysis, and other initiatives.

Basic Qualifications


- 3+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- 3+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience in analyzing data to drive decisions
- 5+ years of experience in employee communications, internal communications, or corporate communications in a tech company
- Proven experience managing global employee engagement programs for organizations with 5000+ employees across multiple continents
- Advanced video production skills including experience with professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premier Pro, Camtasia, Final Cut Pro)
