About the role
JOB SUMMARY:
The Supervisor – Eiffel Tower is responsible for the department operation of the Eiffel Tower. The Supervisor will consistently monitor the operation as a whole. This involves monitoring guest movement and employee interactions with guests.
HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY
- Guest Experience & Operations Oversight
- Ensure a safe, courteous, and engaging environment by upholding the principles of Safety, Courtesy, Show, and Capacity.
- Monitor daily operations of the Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck and respond to guest or system-related issues promptly.
- Serve as a problem solver for guest interactions and support VIP or group guest experiences.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver a seamless and exciting guest experience.
- Team Leadership & Support
- Provide support across operational roles as needed to optimize efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Ensure timely breaks and lunches for shift employees.
- Monitor and evaluate employee interactions with guests, using established performance metrics.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching, including progressive discipline up to termination when necessary.
- Administrative & Compliance Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records related to guest throughput and ticket sales.
- Process operational information and make informed business decisions.
- Uphold company policies, Code of Conduct, and comply with all industry and gaming regulations.
- Stay informed about property promotions, programs, and amenities.
- Staffing & Talent Management
- Manage the hiring and termination process through the Oracle portal.
- Initiate and close requisitions, conduct interviews, and make hiring decisions.
- Leadership Communication
- Report directly to the Director and Assistant Director of Operations, keeping them informed of any significant issues or developments.
- Work Schedule Flexibility
- Must be available to work various shifts, including holidays and weekends.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Education & Experience
- Must be 21 and over
- Some college education requires at least two years of experience in a customer-facing role.
- Prior supervisory experience in an amusement or attraction-based environment is preferred.
- Qualifications
- Strong customer service orientation with a proactive approach to guest care and issue resolution.
- Independent decision-making skills to enhance the guest experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
- Effective time management and multitasking capabilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance in accordance with company standards.
- Ability to respond to visual and auditory cues and maintain awareness in a high-volume setting.
- Basic math proficiency; prior experience handling money is preferred.
- Physical ability to move quickly, stand for extended periods, and lift to 35 lbs.
- Must demonstrate integrity and uphold standards required in a regulated business environment.
- English literacy and fluency required for safety and communication purposes.
- Work Environment
- Exposure to varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and wind.
- Required to stand for long durations during shifts.
- Must wear the designated uniform as outlined in Eiffel Tower procedures.
