The Die Maintenance Team Member at Toyotetsu Texas (TTTX) plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes by maintaining, repairing, and optimizing dies used in production. This position is essential for minimizing downtime and enhancing the efficiency and quality of manufacturing operations. 



Key Responsibilities:  



Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on dies to ensure they are in optimal working condition.  


Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with dies, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.  


Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities that minimize disruption to manufacturing processes.  


Repair and refurbish dies, utilizing various tools and techniques to restore them to operational standards.  


Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications performed on dies.  


Work closely with engineering and production teams to develop and implement improvements to die designs and maintenance procedures.  


Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all maintenance activities.  


Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to die maintenance and manufacturing processes.  


Provide training and guidance to junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in die maintenance.  


Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of die maintenance operations.  


QualificationsRequired Education:  



High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in a related field is preferred.  





Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.  



  Required Experience:  



Minimum of 3 years of experience in die maintenance or a related field within the manufacturing industry.  





Proven track record of working with various types of dies, including progressive and transfer dies.  





Experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical issues in a fast-paced production environment.  



Required Skills and Abilities:  



Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of die maintenance processes.  





Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.  





Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.  





Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.  





Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.  





Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and other departments.  





Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends, as needed to meet production demands.
