Sr. Application Architect

• Lead and guide the development of Drupal web solutions, utilizing your proficiency in PHP, Drupal CMS, client-side application interfaces, Node.js, Cloud computing, and Open-source technology.
• Conduct performance and scalability benchmarking and profiling of web solutions. Drive enhancements to system stability, efficiency, quality, and consistency of finished products.
• Offer comprehensive technical support throughout the development lifecycle of Drupal web solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex technical challenges.
• Adherence to Standards: Ensure the adoption of appropriate Web Applications standards during project development to maintain consistency and elevate the overall quality of the solutions.
• Play a vital role in project development, enhancement, and migration efforts, leveraging your expertise to architect robust and scalable solutions.
• Data Analysis and Recommendations: Develop detailed analyses of data and information, providing valuable recommendations to improve the design and performance of web solutions.
• Maintain vigilance over website alerts, security upgrades, and actively monitor public-facing websites to ensure their performance and security.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders, to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and incorporate these insights into the design and development of web solutions.
• Execute any other related duties assigned to contribute to the overall success of projects and the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8 years firsthand experience in web application development using Drupal and PHP frameworks like Symfony.
• Included in the 8 years of experience must be two years of experience using Drupal 8 with continuous custom module development experience.
• Must have ability to use native Drupal layout tools layout builder and modules like Panels and DS as well as image styling tools.
• Expert knowledge of and skill with web technologies used to integrate and develop Drupal web solutions across different technology platforms.
• Must have client-side application interfaces and ability to apply it to design user interfaces for web and intranet apps by establishing detailed program specifications using SDLC methodologies and tools.
• Must have skills with a modern MVC based JS Framework like AngularJS, Angular 2 and Node JS.
• Experience with Acquia environment and Drupal VM including multi-site environment and ability to integrate third party APIs into Drupal application.
• Experience with custom module development and site building that follows industry standards.
