The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
The Sr. Director, FP&A Global Supply Chain will report directly to the SVP Finance, Global Supply Chain of Solventum and be the main owner of the FP&A processes supporting Global Supply Chain. This role will be a key finance business partner for SVP Finance and COO and will also interact regularly with the CFO and CEO.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Lead a team responsible for Global Supply Chain reporting, consolidation, systems, functional support, and cost processes
Stand up an efficient FP&A Center of Excellence supporting Global Supply Chain and the Global Supply Chain Finance organizations
Collaborate with GSC, Business and Functional teams, Separation Management Office, and other critical stakeholders to support the reporting and consolidation of Global Supply Chain results vs Operating Plan
Work closely with the larger FP&A team and leading the Global Supply Chain Annual Operating Plan, Quarterly forecasts and tracking actual performance to explain variances
Prepare Global Supply Chain related financial presentations and analyses for Senior Leadership’s discussions and Board of Directors
Act as a change ambassador across the global finance network, infusing learning, creating forum to share best practices and develop skills in change management
Understand advancements in technology and innovations which are happening across digital, predictive analytics, data visualizations, robotics and artificial intelligence to influence Finance direction
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher and 13 years of finance experience within health care OR manufacturing industries with key understanding of manufacturing, business unit and commercial processes, including financial planning, business analysis, forecasting, reporting and P&L management
Five (5) years of experience of financial modeling for international organizations
Five (5) years of leadership experience managing senior level teams
Experience in the MedTech Industry
Financial modeling experience in M&A transactions
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
CPA, CMA or equivalent international certification
Experience in the MedTech Industry, Global Supply Chain, Business, or Global FP&A
Experience in a global business setting and understanding of operational and cultural differences due to geography, size, and scope of the organization
Advanced knowledge of general accounting, processes and key terminology related to accounting concepts
Understanding of finance technologies (process, planning analytics, core Financial, BI tools) and ERP technologies (SAP), SAP S/4 HANA, SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC), Anaplan, Blackline, Robotic Process Automation (B
