Position Overview:
The Director, HR Business Partner acts as a strategic partner to assigned customer groups shaping and driving the execution of people strategies for the organizations they support. The key areas of focus will be talent management, organization growth and development, and culture and leadership ensuring that programs in these areas are fit for purpose and rolled out in a systematic and impactful way. S/he will be a key member of the HR Enabling Functions Team contributing to the HR Quality and Legal strategy working in close partnership with the HR Centers of Excellence to address the needs of the business. This position requires the ability to manage both strategic priorities and programs, and tactical execution.
Responsibilities
Serves as a strategic advisor and coach to the Global Quality, Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Leadership Team and to the Global Legal Leadership Team on workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and organizational development.
Works closely with HR Centers of Excellence to develop and implement programs across the organization inclusive of talent management, culture and engagement, compensation etc.
Anticipates internal and external business challenges and proactively strategizes process improvements and opportunities to address
Coaches and counsels business leaders on performance management, employee relations, retention, and professional development for the functional groups supported.
Regularly develops, monitors and updates workforce plan in partnership with assigned business leaders, talent management and talent acquisition to ensure robust talent pipelines of both internal and external candidates.
Partners, evaluates, and advises on the impact of long-range planning on new programs/strategies as those items impact the attraction, motivation development and retention of talent in the company.
Leads strategic initiatives impacting the organization or within Human Resources.
Fosters a culture consistent with the values and mission outlined by the leadership of the company and Insulet’s Ways of Working.
Remains current on local, state, federal and international human resource related laws and regulations and ensures compliance.

Education and Experience
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of 12 years of HR or related experience
8+ years’ experience in HRBP roles strongly preferred.
Experience supporting corporate functions or R&D organizations desirable but not required.
Life science industry / healthcare industry experience desirable but not required.
Experience working with and understanding of sales incentive compensation plans and designs
