SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER

In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS/GG-14) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: Directing a technical team by managing budgets, setting strategic goals, and overseeing all workforce management functions. Providing expert technical oversight for the entire lifecycle of complex engineering projects, from design to final evaluation. Developing and implementing policies for special programs, analyzing performance, and recommending operational improvements. Getting consensus from very diverse organizations with their own priorities. Shepherding a new project from concept, to funding, to building it, to testing, to turnover to a program of record.
