We are seeking an experienced and professional Lead Security Officer to oversee safety operations at a busy multi-retail location in Brooklyn, NY. This is a full-time leadership role ideal for someone with strong communication skills, solid judgment, and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced retail environment.

Friday & Saturday: 11:30 PM – 8:30 AM

Sunday, Monday & Thursday: 3:30 PM – 12:30 AM
Hourly Pay: $23.55
Total Hours Per Week: 40
Location: Brooklyn, NY (exact site withheld for discretion)
Post Type: Retail environment supervision and foot patrol

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the on-site point of contact for all security matters during assigned shifts

Supervise and support a team of Security Officers to ensure consistent coverage and performance

Maintain a highly visible presence to deter theft, ensure safety, and address disturbances

Oversee access control, monitor surveillance systems, and respond to incidents

Complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and ensure compliance with safety protocols

Liaise with site management and external emergency services as needed

Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to security staff

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age

Prior experience in a security leadership or supervisory role strongly preferred

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills

Strong professional presence and ability to lead by example

Able to walk, stand, and remain alert throughout the shift

Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work evenings and overnight hours
