We are currently seeking a Project & Application Services Delivery Director to join our team in Parsipanny, New Jersey (US-NJ), United States (US).
We are looking for a Strategic Delivery Director to be based in New Jersey and be onsite in Parsipanny, NJ.
Day to Day Responsibilities Include:
- Build relationships with the various group leaders within the customer setup and drive the growth by selling application related services.
- Run Delivery Operations & manage a large account including P&L Management
- Lead a business facing team to build, develop and support applications, tools, and services for the customer.
- Delivery of multi-functional teams that includes .NET, Java, Oracle, Salesforce, MuleSoft, SQL Server DBA Developers and technical leads, etc.
- Partner with client business leaders, product owners, project managers and the operations community, to understand, prioritize and implement effective and efficient process for capacity utilization.
- Provide vision and leadership, resolve conflicts, and be a catalyst for creative, high-quality delivery within a collaborative, safe and high-performing team environment.
- Care deeply about the technical side of operations to help ensure smooth running of the managed capacity and staffing requirements
- Drive the adoption, management, and optimization of capacity engagement model with the client business leaders.
- Work in a varied and dynamic, bespoke technical landscape comprising of legacy monoliths to microservices.
- Understand and be able to implement capacity utilization frameworks, metrics-based capacity management, capacity and resource forecasting.
- Open to change and a strong advocate for new processes, technology, and methods.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external vendors and client’s strategic partners.
- Risk based project management and tracking with good exposure to SDLC life cycle from gathering requirements to production deployment.
- Resource Management and manage career progression of team members
- Knowledge in change management, with ability to manage and monitor changes related to applications.
- Awareness in QA management, change management and release management processes.
Minimum Requirements:
- 15+ years of experience with general IT Delivery Management processes
- 5+ years of demonstrated ability to drive growth of a large account
- 5+ years of managing risks and issues and demonstrate conflict resolution and removing team impediments.
