Base Pay: $55,000 to $70,000

The Quality Systems Technician plays a pivotal role insupporting and driving the quality management systems and quality assurance under the direction of the Quality Systems Manager.In this role, you will be responsible for conducting internal audits, assist with external audits, manage user access to our quality software and train new users. The ideal candidate will contribute to SOP creation, managed document updates, generate quality reports and support production monitoring. Additionally, the candidate will aid in plant optimization, oversee plant record storage, and handle various other related tasks. This position requires an individual who is self-directed and capable of running projects with little or no instruction. 

• Punctuality and attendance are extremely important to the success of the operations in general as well as contributing to an overall positive team atmosphere. Dependable job attendance is expected. Basic Computer skills preferred. 

Shift Information: 8-hr shift, Monday-Friday 

Work Environment: Texarkana, AR Plant 

• The job is within a fast paced, heavy industrial environment and you may be required to work within various areas of the factory. 
• The environmental conditions can be hot, cold, and noisy. 
• Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing and eye protection, protective clothing, and steel-toed shoes. 

Basic Qualifications: 

• High school diploma, GED or the Workforce Center's Career Readiness Certification (CRC) with a minimum of Silver Certificate level 
• Must be at least 18 years of age  
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future  
• Required to lift heavy materials, climb, stand, squat, bend and work at heights with or without reasonable accommodations 
• 2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment (operations or quality department roles) 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Internal Auditor certification(s) for applicable standards (ISO 9001, 14001, etc) 
• Experience in database administration 
• Experience with SAP software
