FITS is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support our corporate function. As the sole HR professional in the organization, this position combines hands-on execution with strategic partnership, ensuring employees and leadership alike are supported through effective HR practices. FITS currently supports employees across 15 states, providing the opportunity to work on diverse and complex HR needs. This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and wants to directly influence the company’s people strategy.
Core Duties:
- HR Strategy & Support: Partner with leadership to align HR practices with company goals, values, and culture. Provide recommendations on HR initiatives that foster organizational success.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage full-cycle recruitment, from sourcing and interviewing to hiring and onboarding new employees. Build strong talent pipelines to attract top candidates.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for employees regarding HR concerns. Address issues, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive and inclusive workplace environment.
- Performance Management: Support managers in conducting performance evaluations, setting goals, and providing feedback. Assist in developing processes that encourage employee growth and accountability.
- Compensation & Benefits: Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness, compliance, and equity across the organization.
- Compliance & Policy: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local labor laws. Maintain and update HR policies and procedures to align with regulations and company needs.
- Training & Development: Coordinate training initiatives that support professional growth, compliance requirements, and leadership development.
- HR Operations: Maintain accurate employee records, manage HR documentation, and oversee HR tools and systems.
Qualifications (Required):
- Clearance: None Required
- Education: Bachelor’s degree
- 2 years of HR/ office experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism
