Description

Statement of Purpose: Provides human resources consultation and support to designated business unit. Uses working knowledge of the business to provide HR workforce planning support and guidance to line managers. Analyzes trends and develops workforce plans to resolve issues and make a positive impact on business results. Utilizes knowledge of various human resources functions to provide tactical support to line managers. Acts as liaison with other HR functions. 

Essential Functions:

  1. Provide guidance and mentorship for business executives and leaders to discuss the tactics to enhance employee productivity and retention, employee engagement and relationships.
  2. Serve as an accountable person, to whom all employees and business executives can easily reach out to for matters and queries related to human resources.
  3. Collaborate with the HR line managers and business executive leaders to interpret the HR processes, business objectives, goals, challenges, and concerns.
  4. Ensure that the integrated human resource strategies and policies align with the organizational needs and goals.
  5. Serve as an HR acquisition and integration specialist to manage the human resource function for the strategical integrations and employee acquisitions.
  6. Consulting on Workforce Planning to include Job Description Development (i.e. Salary, Location, Ideal Candidate
  7. Talent Acquisition Coordination, keeping the Approval Process movement (Requisition Management, Tier Levels), Interview Process Monitoring (i.e. aid Hiring Managers in prescreens/interviews, HRBP conduct higher level role interviews and prescreens), Extends Job Offers in collaboration with Talent Acquisition
  8. Conducts new hire onboarding (i.e., I-9, etc.), HRIS and LMS set-ups and complete off-boarding processes.
  9. Manage promotions and all PCNs process and documentation.
  10. Manage the Performance Management Process to include: 60 Day Check-In Follow ups w/ New Hire and Manager, 90 Day Review w/ New Hire, Stay/Exit Interviews, , Manage Employee goals in HRIS.
  11. Identify Employee and Leadership Developmental needs & propose solutions and/or training.
  12. Consult w/ Managers, propose retention remedies, educate managers and execute on the retention strategies developed by Talent Acquisition.
  13. Manage Employee LOA/Workers Compensation and work accommodations (ADA).
  14. Complete employee investigations and complaints
  15. Manage and look after the employee relation metrics, diagnose the issues, and eradicate the root cause of these challenges.
  16. Assist the business executives and leaders in support of optimizing the company’s culture, structure and framework.
  17. Provides counseling, coaching, mentorship, and guidance for employees as well as the executives to target better performance.
  18. Promotes and practices CAN Community Health Inc’s mission and values and follows its policies and procedures.
  19. Ensures confidentiality is maintained by entire team regarding patient/client information in accordance with HIPAA, professional and departmental standards.
  20. Keeps all legal and labor law required postings in compliance.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  1. Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with business executives.

  3. Proven experience working in HR acquisition systems.
  4. Familiar with HR management and people management
  5. Certified human resources professional with complete knowledge of HR intricacies and technical details
  6. Excellent mentorship and coaching skills
  7. Good project management and time management skills 
  8. Willingness to travel abroad and relocation.
  9. Exceptional skills to adhere with organizational goals, standards, culture, and policies.
  10. Deep understanding of federal and state employment laws
  11. In-depth knowledge of legal technicalities and requirements for employee day-to-day work responsibilities to ensure regulatory compliance.
  12. Sound knowledge of employee development and Affirmative Action Plan
  13. Good supervision skills to judge the employee performance throughout the day.
  14. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  15. Ability to research projects.
