Pay Scale: $17-$19/hr.

Summary:
This position will be responsible preparing and cooking meals in a residential substance abuse program with regards to all appropriate sanitation, and health department regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follows a menu to prepare and cook foods.  Cooks food according to proper certifications/sanitations methods. .
• Inventories Food stocks and informs supervisor of reorder needs.  Purchased bulk food orders and may place orders with food distributors.
• Washes dishes and cooking utensils using standard sanitation methods.  Cleans and sanitizes kitchen area to meet Health Department needs.
• Responsible for collection of vending machine funds as needed and purchases and restocks machines as needed.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor

Education/Experience: Experience in cooking in an industrial kitchen required.
