Job Description

AECOM is currently seeking a Senior Roadway Engineer to be based in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work on exciting major highway projects in Raleigh and across North Carolina.

• Lead Engineer: You’ll take the lead on mid- to large-sized projects, providing specialized technical input to studies and design within your area of expertise.
• Guidance and Management: Offer guidance to all staff and potentially manage a small team.
• Approval and Quality Control: Approve and sign off on work, ensuring quality control reviews of work developed by others.
• Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise for studies and design efforts.
• Client Interaction: Present complex technical solutions to clients.
• Budget and Schedule: Estimate engineering budgets and schedules to meet requirements on large projects.

Qualifications

Minimum:

• BS Civil Engineering
• 8 years of civil engineering roadway design experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred:

• NCDOT client experience
• MicroStation ORD experience and proficiency

The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.  The salary range for this position typically is $100,000 to $165,000.
