Job Title: Warehouse Associate I 

 

Available Shift:   

• 9:30 am - 6:00 pm., Monday - Friday

Hourly Rate: $18 / hour  

Overtime may be required based on business goals  

 

 

Arrow Electronics is seeking a collaborative and engaged Warehouse Associate to join our Grapevine, TX Warehouse Logistics center. This role will focus on the functions of receiving, picking, storing, packing, cycle counts and shipping. As a Warehouse Associate I, you will be required to excel in the areas of safety, quality, attention to detail, teamwork, and reliability. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  

What You’ll Be Doing: 

• Support daily various distribution center functions including: receiving, picking, storing, packing, and shipping 

• Cross-train via multiple departments within the warehouse facility  

• Transport, store, and stage product 

• Ensure quality and productivity goals are met 

• Pull, prep, and complete shipping orders via RF scanners, paperwork, and box packaging 

• Perform data entry, merchandise scan-ins, and provide accurate inventory counts 

• Ability to verify data and inspect small part markings 

• Receive, verify, stage, and stock incoming material, either independently or as part of a team  

• Ensure the warehouse area is cleaned, organized, and that all safety procedures are being followed at all times  

• Inspect and maintain warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, floor lifts, joey and basic tools 

• Report any equipment malfunctions or necessary repairs to relevant channels 

• Provide dependable, shift-long coverage of the warehouse facilities to ensure order fulfillment operates as efficiently as possible for the duration of the warehouse associate’s shift 

 

What You’ll Need: 

 

• 1-3 years of relevant work experience  

• Previous warehouse experience preferred, but not required 

• Ability to perform end-user computer functions (e.g., data input, interpret information and instructions from computer screens) on Warehouse computer systems (e.g., terminals, tablets and scanners)     

• Must have strong attention to detail  

• Reading, writing, and understanding of English language  

• This position involves standing and or walking for considerable lengths of time. Consistently bending to floor level and heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) is required  

• Collaborate with team members, leads, and supervisors to contribute to department-wide production & quality goals
