About the role

This position will contribute to the day-to-day activities and special projects on the Vendor Master Maintenance team. The purpose of the Summer Internship Program is to provide professional development/experience to individuals within their field of study by exposure to the business environment of a large corporation.   

This program is scheduled to begin in May of 2026 and end around August of 2026. This role will report to the Sherwin-Williams Global Headquarters located at 1 Sherwin Way, Cleveland, OH 44113.

 

Because this role involves access to confidential financial information, the Company has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and to provide similar protections for its clients and potential investments.

  1.  

  • Perform maintenance on vendor records 

  • Assist with processing supplier requests daily 

  • Review and solve record discrepancies 

  • Assist internal and external customers on processes 

  • Validate vendor banking updates 

  • Provide support for annual compliance 

  • Assist with special projects 

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma 
  • Candidates must be working towards an Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business related field from an accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 3.0. 
  • Must by 18 years of age or older 
  • Must be available to work approximately 37.5 hours/week during the summer of 2026 
  • Some travel to other locations, meetings and/or seminars is required. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) experience
