Job Description

We're looking for a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join our Inpatient Unit at Koch team, providing comprehensive care to a diverse inpatient population. In this role, you'll play a vital part in meeting medical and psychosocial needs, implementing care standards, and contributing to groundbreaking research.  This role is open to new and experienced APPs with chemo or oncology experience and heme or solid tumor backgrounds 

Role overview:

  • Deliver care to multiple high volume services including, Lymphoma, Myeloma, Solid Tumor, and Interventional Radiology Patients
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive care to inpatient oncology patients
  • Ensure the delivery of quality care to meet our patients medical, surgical, and psychosocial needs
  • Participate in the implementation of patient education and clinical support programs to ensure optimal care throughout the healthcare continuum

Key Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited PA program
  • NCCPA certification and BLS Certification
  • Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure
  • 2 years of inpatient APP experience in Hospital Medicine or Medical Oncology. 

OR

  • Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations
  • Master’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
  • Related National NP certification and BLS certification
  • 2 years of Inpatient APP experience in Hospital Medicine or Medical Oncology.

Additional Information:

  • Hours: 6a-7:30pm weekend and holiday rotation required
  • Location: Koch building, Inpatient Unit
  • This role is open to new and experienced APPs with a chemo or oncology and heme or solid tumor backgrounds

Pay Range $144,000-182,000K
