Fundraising Event Assistant

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Fundraising Event Assistant to join our team. This role involves supporting the planning and execution of fundraising events for our charitable clients, ensuring that each event runs smoothly and achieves its goals. Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of fundraising events.
• Collaborate with the event planning team to develop event concepts and logistics.
• Communicate with clients, vendors, and sponsors to ensure successful event outcomes.
• Manage event setup, operation, and breakdown activities.
• Promote fundraising events through various marketing channels and outreach efforts.
• Collect and organize event materials and supplies.
• Track event attendance and fundraising results, and prepare post-event reports.
• Provide exceptional customer service to event attendees and address any issues promptly.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred but not required).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Previous experience in event planning, fundraising, or customer service is a plus.
• Must be available to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
