Senior Analyst, Compensation

What this job involves

JLL is currently seeking a Senior Analyst, Compensation within our Reward team. This role operates in a fast-paced and fluid environment within the JLL Reward team and will support our Corporate Functions including JLL Business Services and JLL Technologies. The Senior Analyst, Compensation will report to the Reward Partner, Corporate Functions.

This role will be responsible for:

  • Partnering across the Business and HR  

    • Proactively develop and foster collaborative working relationships with key clients and stakeholders that will include HR, Operations, Finance, Legal and stakeholders from the groups your support.

    • Serve as a trusted advisor through your understanding of the business and compensation expertise to help the development of solutions that support the strategic business needs. 

  • Drive Reward Strategy Through Design, Implementation and Administration of Reward Plans and Programs

    • Support compensation initiatives to implement, develop and administer compensation programs within multiple regions that support the business strategy of JLL Technologies and the Corporate Functions. 

    • Help evaluate the competitiveness of the compensation plans by compiling and analyzing statistical data from internal and external market sources. Formulate recommendations regarding salary ranges and incentive structures for specific jobs.

    • May participate in complex projects over multiple business units or regions.

    • Provides counsel to HR on compensation issues related to company pay structures, pay change recommendations, new hire offers, wage and hour regulations, policy/procedure interpretation, incentive programs, etc. 

  • Evaluate and advise on industry trends

    • Proactively monitor the compensation industry and changes that that might affect JLL's Compensation initiatives, identify and make recommendations to reward partner for action.

    • Research and recommend innovative solutions to complex issues

  • Manage year-end compensation administration

    • Support the process with HR to determine methodology and approach to be followed in year-end pay administration. This includes budget analysis and recommendations, modeling results, and setting up the compensation support tool to comply with methodology and budgets agreed upon. Review and analyze results.

Minimum Required Experience  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Human Resources or business related field preferred.  

  • 3-5 years of corporate compensation experience designing, implementing, and maintaining compensation and incentive plans. 

  • Experience developing and managing compensation programs – global experience a plus. 

  • Knowledge of compensation statistics and metrics.

  • Strong PC skills (Word, PowerPoint & exceptional Excel skills)  

Please note this role is required to be onsite 3-4x a week in Chicago.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

105,000.00 – 130,000.00 USD per year
