Role Description
The Maintenance Supervisor ensures all equipment in the facility is in proper working order. Roles is supervision of all team members in the Maintenance Department. Overall responsibility for maintaining plant equipment and facilities to ensure minimal machine downtime and maximum production efficiency. The Maintenance Supervisor must exhibit and proactively motivate others in the behaviors of the WireCo Business System (WBS):

Duties and Responsibilities
- Directs maintenance team members engaged in installation, modifications, and general repair of machinery, peripheral equipment (like compressors, forklifts, electrical boards, etc.) and tooling.
- Responsible and accountable for the utilization of available resources (maintenance CapEx) to meet customer requirements on time, and within acceptable quality and cost levels.
- Ensures plant equipment is maintained (using Autonomous, Preventive and Predictive maintenance) and repaired (Corrective maintenance) ensuring equipment availability (uptime) is maximized.
- Ensures completed work conforms to specifications, is performed in a professional manner, and work areas are left clean of all maintenance materials and tools.
- Ensures facilities and machines are in compliance with OSHA requirements and good safety and housekeeping practices.
- Reviews constantly machinery and equipment ensuring a safe environment for all associates.
- Ensures maintenance procedures and KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, compliance of preventive maintenance program, etc.) are followed and updated as needed.
- Orders timely materials within cost, quality and delivery guidelines.
- Keeps inventory of required spare parts and records of tools and equipment distributed to team members.
- Manage the maintenance ordering process within the plant maximizing the time-response to the operation’s needs.
- Co-responsible with HSE leader for implementing the LOTOTO program in the plant.
- Actively participates on plant Continuous Improvement projects.
Supervisory Responsibility
- Utilizes, trains, develops, evaluates, and motivates maintenance team members.
- Supervises in an effective manner consistent with team empowerment principles. Develops and may conduct training programs for maintenance team members and production team as required.
- Maintains effective communications with all associates in the plant, including production, HR, HSE, quality, etc.
- Responsible for managing the entire Plant's Preventive Maintenance Program that includes buildings (in some cases through the landlord) checking for necessary repairs or suggesting measures preventing machinery, tooling or any other equipment potential breakdowns.
- Responsible for his/her own safety and the safety of those around the machines, including operators and technicians.

- Work Experience: 1-3 years manufacturing and warehouse experience
