Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking Equipment Maintenance Specialist (Fluids Management) to join the Facilities & Equipment Maintenance team located in Helena, Montana.

 

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels, including Associate and Mid-Level Equipment Maintenance Specialist for Fluids Management.

 

This position is 1st shift, working Monday through Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

 

The successful candidate will have a background in equipment maintenance and a strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the optimal performance of CNC equipment. Fluids Management:

• Monitor & trend tracking concentration levels in CNC equipment

• Analyze cutting fluids for contaminates and overall coolant health

• Hydraulic Oil analysis for contamination

• Compressed air quality monitoring & trending

• Work with third-party suppliers

Position Responsibilities:

• Works under general supervision with understanding of the job

• Performs maintenance on factory equipment

• Troubleshoots, analyzes, inspects, disassembles, rebuilds, modifies and tests factory machinery and equipment as necessary using knowledge in areas such as mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics

• Assists with interpreting blueprints and schematics to maintain and repair equipment

• Responds to requests for equipment repair

• Identifies and requests component and replacement part inventories

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 1+ years of experience maintaining, repairing, and conducting preventive maintenance on commercial mechanical systems

• 1+ years of experience interpreting commercial technical data including drawings, maintenance and operations manuals

• 1+ years of experience operating Electrical, Mechanical, and/or Hydraulic Systems

• 1+ years of experience performing predictive and/or preventative maintenance

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• 1+ years of experience working with suppliers

• Ability to take direction, multi-task, perform work safely and communicate in written and verbal form
