Student - Programming Intern (BAEC)

The Butler Arts and Events Center (BAEC) is seeking a student intern to provide administrative support to the programming department, assisting with scheduling, communication, calendar management, and event logistics. Responsibilities include supporting artist research, contract tracking, ticket sale reporting, and coordinating pre-show entertainment, along with contributing to special projects as needed.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manage inquiries, scheduling, communication, and calendar for the JCA recitals, rehearsals, and other events taking place in EDRH
- Report ticket sales to Pollstar
- Research potential future artists for the BAEC
- Assist with contract review process for confirmed artists
- Track contract and payment status for upcoming shows
- Assist with calendar management via Prism
- Assist with booking preshow entertainment in the Krannert Room
- Perform non-routine projects based upon the current goals of the department.
Required Qualifications:
Students should be a current undergraduate or graduate student of Butler University.
Preferred Qualifications:
Junior or senior standing, previous experience in the Arts or Entertainment
Work Schedule:
10-15 hours a week (flexible), primarily between the hours of 9am and 5pm
