Alto is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Tester - Mobile Applications to join our growing team.

What you’ll do:

• Work with the engineering team to manually test our web and mobile-based software systems and products
• Research and implement new technologies to improve our quality processes and performance
• Support and extend software QA standards
• Build and maintain test cases for frontend and backend web solutions
• Diagnose, isolate, document and track defects and issues encountered during testing
• Take part in iterative releases delivering quality features across multiple internal and user-facing products
• Become part of a team that values culture, camaraderie and inclusion at all levels

What you bring to the table:

• 1-3 years experience testing modern mobile-based applications and RESTful API’s
• Experience testing applications on a varied  number of mobile devices
• Experience writing and maintaining test cases for software development
• Experience documenting and tracking issues using bug tracking tools
• Self-motivated, autonomous and quick to learn new technologies

The following is considered a plus:

• Experience using third party software and tooling for testing (e.g. JMeter/Postman, Zephyr/TestRail)
• Experience in structured software development methodologies (ex: Agile, Scrum)
