Housekeeping Associate – Hope Valley Country Club

Hope Valley Country Club is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to join our team. As a cornerstone of our club’s exceptional service, this position plays a vital role in ensuring a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment for our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all club areas including locker rooms, restrooms, dining spaces, offices, event spaces, and common areas

• Perform daily and scheduled deep-cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, polishing, and sanitizing

• Replenish supplies (toiletries, towels, paper products, etc.) as needed

• Report maintenance or safety issues promptly to management

• Assist with setup and breakdown for club events, meetings, or special functions

• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• A strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

• Previous housekeeping or janitorial experience (preferred but not required)

• A friendly and professional attitude; respectful and courteous to members, guests, and staff

• Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks, lift up to 25 lbs, and be on your feet for extended periods

Required Skills

• Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance.
• Sense of urgency for pertinent matters.
• Knowledge of chemical safety.
• Customer service oriented.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

• Prolonged periods standing.
• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
