Following the successful launch of our <strong>Padel Club in Swindon</strong>, we're looking for an experienced and driven<strong> General Manager</strong> to lead the club into its next phase of growth.</p><p>As General Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of the operation, from building a strong member community and leading a high-performing team, to driving commercial success and delivering an exceptional customer experience.</p><p>This is an exciting opportunity to take the reins of a newly established facility, build on its early success, and continue developing a thriving destination for padel and racket sports in the local community.</p><p>.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><ul><li>Lead the overall management of the Paddle Club, ensuring smooth and efficient operations across all departments.</li><li>Develop and execute strategies to drive membership growth, retention, and satisfaction, aligning with the club’s business goals.</li><li>Oversee the planning and execution of events, tournaments, and coaching programs, ensuring they are well-organised and deliver value to members.</li><li>Manage the club’s budget, monitor financial performance, and implement initiatives to drive profitability.</li><li>Ensure the highest standards of facility maintenance, cleanliness, and safety, providing a top-tier experience for all members.</li><li>Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing team, fostering a positive, motivating, and customer-focused work environment.</li><li>Handle member inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism, ensuring quick resolution and member satisfaction.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with members, staff, and the local community to enhance the club’s reputation and reach.</li><li>Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities, adapting strategies as needed to maintain a competitive edge.</li><li>Report regularly on club performance, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>2+ years’ experience in a team leader, supervisory or management role.</li><li>Ideally experienced in working with LTA </li><li>Must have a passion for Padel Racket Sports and all things health and fitness.</li><li>Full availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.</li><li>Excellent written, oral communication, and organizational skills.</li><li>Proven attention to detail.</li><li>Proficient in problem solving and able to work proactively within a team environment to meet established corporate goals and sales objectives.</li><li>Ability to lead and motivate team.</li><li>Desire for career growth within the company.</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><ul><li><strong>Think without limits</strong> - Think fast, fearlessly, and take the team with you. </li><li><strong>Own it and back yourself</strong> - Own the basics, own your role, and own the results. </li><li><strong>Be relevant</strong> - Relevant to our people, our partners, and the planet. </li></ul>
