Psychotherapist

Provides outpatient psychotherapy services to clinic patients and their families; maintains an independent caseload composed of a variety of behavioral health issues and psychiatric disorders; utilize a breadth of knowledge in psychotherapy to provide assessments and evidence-based interventions. Functions as part of an interdisciplinary team.

 

Experience with adolescents/children is preferred.

• Masters in Social Work, Guidance and Counseling, Psychology, Marital and Family Therapy or related field. 

• Three (3) years clinical experience preferably in outpatient setting. 

• Must have Wisconsin MA (Medical Assistance) provider number or be eligible to obtain. 

 

Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Strong written and verbal skills. Basic computer knowledge. Strong interpersonal skills. Good decision making/problem solving skills. Knowledge of DSM-5-TR diagnosis/disorders.  

 

Licensure or Certification:

Licensed as a marital and family therapist, social worker, or professional counselor by the State of Wisconsin Division of Community Services.
