Business Systems Analyst III - Finance (T0006)

 Salary Range: $ 124,000.00 - $170,000.00 

 

 

Position Summary:

We are looking for a senior finance BSA to join our transformation journey in moving our ERP platform from Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 to Microsoft D365. In this role senior BSA will work in our new D365 platform implementation while working to maintain our existing finance functions within AX 2012. In this role, the senior BSA will be highly embedded with our finance teams and work with them to define, improve and maintain finance processes in the system and provide guidance and partnership in various aspects of financial operations. Bridging the business and technology side of the finance operations, senior BSA will play a critical role in achieving organizations critical KPIs such as timely month end closures, accuracy of postings and automation in receiving and applying payments.

 

Exemplis is an office and residential furniture provider. Our IT systems support a myriad of business models including wholesale, retail, and ecommerce. Our products are custom manufactured as well as fulfilled from stock. Supporting all these models creates unique challenges and experiences for our IT organization.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• Configure, develop, enhance, and maintain D365 F&O Finance modules including GL, AP, AR, Costing, Fixed Assets, and Financial Reporting.
• Maintain existing Financials Operations in AX 2012 ensuring continuity of operations.
• Provide day to day support to finance teams as a trusted advisor from troubleshooting issues, addressing new requirements, and providing guidance and clarification on existing processes.
• Collaborate with other team members in developing end to end technology solutions within and outside of MS D365 and AX 2012.
• Provide finance module and general financial practices expertise in solution design and architecture.
• Provide support on third party applications in support of financial operations such as tax and payment applications.
• Develop functional specs with detailed technical definitions of the enhancements and engage with the technical team to deliver the results.

Qualifications, Skills and Education

Required Qualifications:

 

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in a technical area
• 5+ years equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of D365 F&O Finance experience
• Understanding of GAAP accounting and core financial processes

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Azure Dev Ops
• Strong understanding of IT operations, theories, principles, and practices.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• 1+ years of AX 2012 Finance experience
• Manufacturing Industry exp.
