At Evergreen, we are building a modern way to deliver the data, tools and services that enable our clients to invest in the world’s largest asset class at scale.   The optimization of data and automation of reporting will be critical to our success as we continue to scale our product offerings.  In this position, you will provide date-driven insights and automated reporting for internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with, and learn from, industry leading professionals in the SFR space. This position will be based in our downtown Dallas offices, though we will consider a hybrid work schedule.

The Role:   This position includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

• Partner with various teams across Evergreen in building out reporting and analytics solutions, including KPIs, Tableau dashboards, ad-hoc & recurring reports, predictive analytics, and data-backed answers to strategic business questions
• Produce data stories using visualizations tools such as Tableau
• Create meaningful, professional, executive-level presentations

• Automate reporting and dashboards that are connected to operational, financial, and third-party data sources
• Highlight key trends derived from data analysis and be a resource for improving data proficiency throughout the organization
• Collaborate with peers and business leaders in developing descriptive, diagnostic and predictive analytics solutions
• Build and maintain wiki pages for your dashboards, providing clear explanations of data sources, calculations, business logic, and assumptions
• Present findings and recommendations to business leadership

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree focused on a quantitative discipline such as Finance, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Economics, Mathematics or Computer Science
• 3-5 years’ experience in business intelligence, data analytics, and or/data science
• Demonstrable talent for deriving actionable business insights from raw data, able to draw meaningful conclusions and present recommendations in a compelling way
• Expert in SQL query writing and optimization with strong ability to read, understand and reverse engineer queries. Experience working in a Snowflake environment preferred.
• Expert in all aspects of Tableau development, including, but not limited to, data source creation and optimization, ability to choose the right visualization for the data, customizing formatting per company branding and style guide requirements, calculated fields, parameters, level of detail expressions, actions, stories, and effective layout design
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Comfortable presenting findings and analyses to internal and external stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail with ability to identify anomalies in the data
• Experience in the Real Estate Industry is desirable
• Additional background in UI/UX, marketing, or visual design for presentations and analytics a plus
• Experience with predictive modeling in Python a plus
• Experience with data modeling in dbt a plus
• Experience producing investor-facing reporting a plus
