Job Description

The University of Nevada, Reno, College of Education is recruiting for a Project Coordinator, Community of Bilingual English Spanish Speakers (CBESS). The Community of Bilingual English Spanish Speakers explores issues in Health and Science (CBESS), a pipeline program to increase linguistic and geographic diversity in STEM and health. The position reports to the Co-PI for CBESS/Director of the UNR Latino Research Center.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting and verifying financial expenses with the budget analyst

  • Day-to-day operations

  • Coordinating all project activities and resources

  • Recruitment

  • Data collection, analysis, and evaluation activities

  • Participant and family communications

  • Logistics and staffing for all events

  • Supervision of project personnel and participants of the Community of Bilingual English Spanish Speakers (CBESS) program

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and two (2) years of related work experience OR a Master’s Degree and one (1) year of related work experience.

Related Experience: Secondary or Post-secondary educational setting experience or related field; must be biliterate in Spanish and English.

Certification and Licensure

  • Current Nevada driver’s license

Schedule or Travel Requirements

  • Occasional variable work schedule

  • Occasional travel

 

Compensation Grade

Administrative Faculty – B
