Position Overview:
This RN Educator will be supporting the development and delivery of educational programs focused on General Medicine. In this role, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals, subject matter experts, and multimedia specialists to create engaging, evidence-based curricula that enhance clinical skills and promote a culture of continuous learning. Your efforts will directly impact patient safety, staff development, and organizational excellence in a dynamic hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of diverse educational offerings related to emergency response and medical management.
- Support and coordinate operational activities alongside team members, subject matter experts, multimedia developers, and learning management specialists.
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment for organizational staff and external healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with departmental leadership and other organizational units to identify educational needs and priorities.
- Develop and maintain evidence-based, best-practice curricula tailored to target audiences.
- Ensure educational content aligns with regulatory requirements and adult learning principles.
- Maintain current certifications in CPR, ACLS, and PALS as required.
- Utilize Microsoft Office and other software tools to develop, manage, and evaluate educational programs.
Qualifications:
- Requires 3-5 years of relevant clinical experience (ICU experience).
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
- Requires current organizational-specified CPR, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications.
- Requires knowledge of adult learning principles, regulatory requirements, and educational program management.

- May require the ability to travel to within state of Indiana.
