Job Description
AECOM Federal is seeking to hire an experienced Construction Superintendent for our project in Oklahoma City, OK at Tinker AFB.
Job Description:
- Provide overall on-site administrative and technical management for a wide range of construction projects.
- Responsible for the organization and direction of construction and related activities within assigned area of responsibility, which may be a single area, multi-area or a multi-discipline construction project.
- May be the primary client contact for all jobsite day to day activities, or may coordinate with client’s resident representatives on jobsite activities within assigned area of operations.
- Responsibilities are to ensure assigned jobsite operations are in compliance with design/specifications, completion on schedule, within budget and to quality standards. Interfaces with all other administrative field staff, field management staff and particularly the Project Manager in a coordinated effort.
Job Summary:
- Review and interpret site plans and specification packages, develop construction execution and work plans, and develop and evaluate appropriate task hazard analyses related to planned activities.
- The Site Superintendent will monitor ongoing work activities with respect to compliance to contract documents and recommend modifications to work flow as required.
- The Individual will apply selected management software systems to track task execution, project schedule and budget.
- The Site Superintendent will submit routine/periodic reports and assist in the preparation of project completion reports.
- The Site Superintendent will create clear, concise and organized documentation of field events and observations.
- The Site Superintendent will supervise all contract work during the replacement of the ALC/AWACS Apron Repairs.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related curriculum and 10 years of demonstrated experience working in the field of construction or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Due to the nature of this position, United States citizenship is required.
Preferred Requirements:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience as construction Site Superintendent.
- Familiar with the requirements of USACE EM-385-1-1.
- Proficient with Microsoft Products (Word and Excel)
- Fluent in English communication skills.
- Federal contract construction experience including FAR/DFAR.
- Experience with Federal Contract delivery and Federal Subcontracting
- Experience on heavy civil construction projects
- PCCP Airport or runway construction
- Experience with electrical systems is preferred.
- Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management for Contractors Certification is preferred.
- OSHA-30

- This position includes relocation (Per Diem).
- This position may require client approval for base access.
