About the role
Classification Title:
Services is responsible for interpreting ACGME requirements and policies and ensuring the programs
meet these requirements. Maintains fellowship databases, conducts timely reporting, and conducts
special studies when required. Works with departmental and College of Medicine administration to
resolve specific needs; disseminates information to fellows and faculty on policies, didactics, and other
programmatic issues. Duties Include: Responsible for the daily management of the assigned Department of Anesthesiology subspecialty fellowship training programs, Reviews all ACGME policies and procedures to ensure these programs are compliant. Provides input to development of internal policies and procedures to meet appropriate external and institutional rules and regulations as they relate to the department’s fellowship programs. Maintains evaluation system, didactic schedules, and documentation of scholarly work, quality projects, and other fellow accomplishments. Tracks CLER data. Inputs block schedules and other required information into database and ensures evaluations are distributed and collected appropriately and in a manner consistent with ACGME and GME compliance. Works with program directors/fellows to compile and post/distribute call schedules. Participates in recruitment and appointment activities, including interfacing with NRMP, ERAS, SF Match and other recruitment/matching databases. Schedules candidate interviews with program faculty. Completes onboarding and advancement paperwork within established deadlines. Collects data and composes annual ACGME and GME reports for accredited programs. Develops and implements annual fellow orientation to include program-specific policies and procedures. Ensures goals and objectives are reviewed annually and are distributed appropriately. Works with program directors to complete semi-annual and annual ABA reporting for accredited programs. Assists Anesthesiology Education Office serving as back up for other program coordinators and departmental staff with achievement of common goals as assigned. Expected Salary:

$42,000 - $55,000
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing databases and collecting data. Skilled with Microsoft applications. Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
