Key Responsibilities - Payment Method Integration, Payment Routing, Back-Office Support, Subscription Management, Multicurrency Support, User Experience, Collaboration (with our sister squads - Finance and Fraud).</span></p><p></p><p></p><h3>About the Role:</h3><p></p><h3></h3><p><span>As a Senior Back-end Software Engineer, your main task is to improve our Payments systems, ensuring they are scalable, robust, and capable of handling the growing demands of the organization. </span></p><p></p><p><span>Your role involves enhancing the extracting of the existing payments system, porting it to Temporal.io workflows, to manage high loads efficiently. You'll focus on creating a smooth and accurate payment experience for our merchants, including reliable financial transactions and reporting. Additionally, you will add new payment options and work on a Payment Orchestration Platform. </span></p><p></p><p><span>A key part of your job is to transform the Payments module into a separate Payments service, applying best practices from Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Event Sourcing. </span><br/> </p><h3></h3><h3>Your Daily Tasks Will Entail:</h3><p></p><ul><li><p><span>You will work alongside the product teams and product managers to iterate on new features within the joint organization</span></p></li><li><p><span>You will take responsibility in the design and execution of your own initiatives</span></p></li><li><p><span>You will help identify areas of improvement in the codebase and help contribute to making it better</span></p></li><li><p><span>You will frequently pair with teammates to give and receive feedback from a code review to boost knowledge-sharing, and learning and improve the platform</span></p></li><li><p><span>You will fix any prioritized bugs/issues tracked within the platforms</span></p></li><li><p><span>You will participate as a presenter or attendee, in weekly coding or knowledge-sharing sessions</span></p></li><li><p><span>You will learn, develop your soft skills and spend time discussing best practices and technologies with your peers</span><br/> </p></li></ul><h3></h3><h3>Your Qualifications:<br/> </h3><ul><li><p><span>Good level of English (spoken and written)</span></p></li><li><p><span>5+ years' experience with PHP</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with DDD (Domain-Driven Design)</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with CQRS (Command Query Responsibility Segregation)</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with Distributed Systems</span></p></li><li><p><span>Quality-oriented: follow best practices (Testing (ideally TDD), pair programming, continuous <span>integration/deployment,</span> Agile methodologies) and SOLID principles</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with mentoring team members</span></p></li></ul><p></p><h3></h3><h3>Preferred Qualifications:<br/> </h3><ul><li><p><span>Experience with Event Sourcing</span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with Monolith extraction into Microservices</span></p></li></ul><h3></h3><h3></h3><h3></h3><h3>Our Tech Stack:<br/> </h3><ul><li><p><b>Backend:</b><span> </span>PHP 8.1+, Symfony, Laravel &amp; <span>Yii2</span>, Doctrine, PhpUnit, static code analysis tools.</p></li><li><p><b>Databases:</b><span> </span>MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis.</p></li><li><p><b>Engineering Tools:</b><span> </span>Postman, Git, <span>GitLab, </span>GitHub Copilot, PhpStorm, Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker,</p></li><li><p><b>Remote work Tools:</b><span> </span>Tuple, Jira, Miro, Google Workspace, S
