Job Description
Team & Role:
The Quality Engineering Program Management team, which is part of ServiceNow’s Release Management team, takes large, company-wide, highly visible programs from vision to release. We facilitate ServiceNow’s overall release process through key partnerships with technology and business stakeholders. We work hard to ensure high quality on-time releases that delight our customers.
As a Senior Staff Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for managing large, complex Quality and Release programs from start to finish. You will be responsible for providing a proactive, strategic perspective on process improvements, as well as a tactical view into daily progress and issues. Your primary focus will be quality engineering, but your responsibilities will include cross-functional coordination. Each day you will exercise key skills such as conflict resolution, cross-team collaboration, as well as asking and answering questions with precision. This position may require approximately 25% travel.

- Drive large scale, high visibility quality engineering and software development programs.
- Develop the overall prioritization, project plan, milestones, deliverables, and success criteria for large, complex programs.
- Identify, assess, prioritize, and mitigate risks to meet program objectives.
- Generate new data needs and requirements to provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Host executive-level meetings and large cross-functional events.
- Simplify complex issues into a crisp, actionable executive-level status.
- Provide a proactive, strategic perspective on improvements to business processes.
- Analyze trends and data and create reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Execute change management initiatives to ensure successful cross-organization adoption and sustainment of process changes including delivery of communications, supplemental artifacts, process maps, and training.
- Coordinate the day-to-day activities required to deliver a high-quality product on time.
- Host regular meetings & executive read-outs; deliver crisp status updates to all stakeholders and senior leadership.
Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on and managing large projects or programs with cross-functional teams.
- Deliver solutions and strategies while mitigating or removing obstacles.
- Experience utilizing software to keep projects organized, track metrics, and report on progress.
- PMP and Agile certifications preferred
- Solid working knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio and similar applications
- Experience in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning projects and/or testing methods a plus.
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 4+ years and a Master's degree; or equivalent experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Information Systems (CIS), Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science (CS), or related field

Additional Information
For positions in California (outside of the Bay Area), we offer a base pay of $163,000----$285,200,, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
