Work You’ll Do

As a Deloitte Tax Global Senior Project Manager in the Tax Transformation Office, you will drive the planning, delivery, and reporting of key technology projects supporting Deloitte’s Global tax strategy. You will coordinate with Executive, PMO, business, and technology stakeholders to lead scope identification, ensure consistent practices, create transparent communications, and achieve successful execution.

Executive & Leadership Engagement

  • Attend and support regular executive-level meetings, summarizing action items and supporting follow-ups.
  • Respond to ad hoc requests from TTO and Global leaders, including presentation development and workshop facilitation.
  • Act as an escalation point for Business and Technology stakeholders, helping to remove roadblocks and implement mitigation plans.

Roadmap Development & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work with Global Business Stakeholders and Technology Product Leaders to help integrate business pipeline and technical priorities into a holistic Global Roadmap.
  • Facilitate scope, prioritization, and capacity discussions to inform sequencing of program increments and release schedules.
  • Host and set up stakeholder calls, all-hands meetings, change management sessions, and workshops.
  • Coordinate across member firm stakeholders and delivery teams to provide feedback on integrating Enterprise priorities and initiatives into the Global Roadmap.

Lead Strategic Initiatives & Project Management

  • Lead and contribute to strategic initiatives as identified by US and Global stakeholders.
  • Establish, plan, and follow up on special projects.
  • Define, kick off, and oversee various initiatives, ensuring infrastructure and stakeholder alignment.
  • Coordinate tasks, meetings, and actions for effective initiative execution.

Reporting, Communication, & Tracking

  • Monitor and report on work status, initiative tracking, and overall progress (including in Azdo/Power BI).
  • Ensure robust project tracking and reporting, preparing executive summaries, dashboards, presentations and updates for leadership.
  • Monitor critical project metrics such as delivery milestones, budget adherence, and resource utilization, and escalate risks/issues as needed.
  • Track and report on initiatives, roadmap execution, metrics and outcomes for ongoing transparency.

Continuous Improvement & Operational Activities

  • Facilitate ad hoc issue resolution and task follow-up as needed.

The team

Deloitte Tax LLP's Tax Transformation Office (TTO) is responsible for the design, development, and deployment of innovative, enterprise technology, tools, and standard processes to support the delivery of tax services. The TTO team focuses on enhancing Deloitte Tax LLP’s ability to deliver comprehensive, value-added, and efficient tax services to our clients. It is a dynamic team with professionals of varying backgrounds from tax technical, technology development, change management, Six Sigma, and project management. The team consults and executes on a wide range of initiatives involving process and tool development and implementation including training development, engagement management, tool design, and implementation.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Ability to perform responsibilities in a hybrid work model with in-person presence 2–3 days per week
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or other relevant degree
  • 8+ years of relevant experience in tax technology, tax operations, digital product delivery, consulting, or a related domain, including significant leadership scope (tax/CPA background a plus where applicable).
