Social Media Community Manager

This is a remote position.

Schedule:

• Mondays to Fridays, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

• 40 hours per week

• US Eastern Standard Time business hours

• Client Timezone: Eastern Standard Time

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement community engagement strategies to foster a positive and interactive community across all social media platforms.
• Create and monitor content across various social media platforms, ensuring it aligns with the brand's voice and objectives.
• Engage with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and monitor customer reviews.
• Oversee and manage community challenges, competitions, and campaigns.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and customer service, to ensure brand consistency and timely response to concerns.
• Liaise with influencers and other relevant entities to promote brand awareness and community growth.
• Analyze key metrics and tweak strategy as needed.
• Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans.
• Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends and emerging platforms to ensure maximum community reach and engagement

Requirements

• Proven work experience in community management or a similar role.

• Experience with creating and curating content for social media.

• Ability to identify and track relevant community KPIs.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in MS Office, Windows, and Google tools.

• Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels.

• Attention to detail, critical-thinker, and problem-solving skills

Highly Regarded Skills and Experience

• Previous experience or interest in the specific industry.

• Email campaign, copywriting, and list management experience.

• Experience in Adobe Photoshop, Canva or similar software.
