Job Summary 

As we scale, we are looking for a Manager, People Operations who will play a critical role in designing, improving, and executing people programs that support employee and business growth. This is a mid-senior-level role, ideal for a highly organized, data-driven, and strategic HR professional with global experience. The Manager, People Ops is responsible for navigating organizational changes, addressing employee relations challenges, and ensuring consistent execution of key initiatives. Success in this role requires a combination of strategic acumen, operational expertise, and a deep understanding of the team member lifecycle.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as a trusted partner to senior leaders across all functions, with specific focus on GTM. You will drive alignment between business objectives and people strategies by deeply understanding business goals and identifying proactive opportunities to improve. 
  • Typically supports front line employees and managers through VP/EVP depending on organizational structure.
  • Oversee a broad scope of people operations functions including employee listening, onboarding, business partnership, global benefits and employee relations. 
  • Oversee global benefits administration with the support of your team to ensure competitive and unique benefit offerings that support our global total rewards strategy. 
  • Partner with Head of People and Chief People Officer to manage compensation projects including market surveys, maintaining job architecture, benchmarking new roles and ensuring a competitive compensation, responsible strategy 
  • Provide efficient coaching and feedback to leaders on employee engagement, team performance, and organizational effectiveness to better align towards department, team and individual goals. 
  • Act as principal support and subject matter expert on employee relations, proactive addressing challenges, and escalating complex cases as needed to POPs leadership, Legal or external counsel. 
  • Use people data, internal and external trends and core people success metrics to inform decision-making, opportunities, coaching and guidance to leadership.
  • Collaborate with XFn People team members, including Recruiting, Employee Enablement & Efficiency, and leadership to drive continuous improvement of people processes. 
  • Manage a distributed team of business partners and operational specialists, providing coaching and career development to align individual goals with business success. 

 

Skills and Behaviors: 

  • 6+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Business Partnering, or HR Program Management, supporting leaders at multiple levels. 1-2 years managing people is strongly preferred. 
  • Comprehensive understanding of the entire team member lifecycle, with the ability to recommend process-oriented and/or operational solutions to improve the team member experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, sound judgement, and ability to establish strong relationships at all levels and across functions.
  • Comfortable using technology including Google Workspace, ADP and Lattice, with a bias towards data insights and driving value. 
  • Strong ability to collect, analyze, and derive actionable insights from HR data and people metrics. Knowledge of Google Sheets and/or Excel strongly preferred. 
  • Highly organized and detail oriented, with strong project management skills to deliver complex initiatives from start to finish. 
  • Empathetic leader with the ability to lead and coach a distributed team in a fast-paced, changing global environment.
  • Understanding of revenue performance and operations is preferred, and can operate well in an environment where sales efficiency and core GTM metrics are primary drivers for success.
