Electrical Field Service Engineer

Responsible for the customers service needs of ANDRITZ equipment in the North American and international market. This is to include
off-site installation new or relocated equipment as well as upgrades to existing assets. Participation in a global team to support the service goals of ANDRITZ and its customers
Typical work duties include but not limited to:
- Service ANDRITZ customers as required by
- Respond to customer inquiries
- Travel up to 65%
- evaluate and resolve customer issues
- assist with installing or relocating equipment
- analyze, inspect and reviews findings of deficiencies to determine best corrective action
- Assist technical sales engineers with sales process as needed
- Provide customer training, repairs, tests and maintenance of equipment
- Regular reports and feedback on service activities
- Develop and maintain working relationship with customers
- Reports common complaints of customers to management
Required and Desired Skills:
- 2-5 years’ experience in advanced industrial automation maintenance
- Nonwoven experience highly preferred
- Dry-laid web forming
- Hot oil Calendering
- Proficient with TCP/IP system integration and networking systems
- Experienced with AutoCAD
- Proficient in reading Blueprints
- Knowledge of all safety classifications, OSHA, ASME, LOTO
- Proficient with TCP/IP system integration and networking systems.
- Familiar with various PLC programs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Rockwell, etc.) able to modify troubleshoot, all hardware and Software
- Capable of integration in existing Systems DeltaV, Fisher, Moore, ABB, etc. Engineering Design of controls for New and Rebuilt Equipment
- Engineering Design of controls for New and Rebuilt Equipment
- German or French Language is a plus (not required)
