Position: Behavioral Respite Clinical Manager
Pay Range: $120,000-$150,000 PER YR
Reporting To: VP of Clinical & Direct Care Services
Work Type: On-site
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Behavioral Respite Clinical Manager provides clinical leadership and oversight for the Behavioral Respite program serving individuals with developmental and behavioral needs. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, evidence-based behavioral services, supervising clinical staff, and maintaining compliance with all Behavior Analyst Certification Board standards and applicable state regulations.
The Clinical Manager plays a critical role in developing individualized behavior intervention strategies, monitoring client progress, and supporting staff and families through training and supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field
- Minimum 5 year’s experience providing ABA services
- Minimum 2 year’s experience supervising RBTs and/or clinical staff
- Strong knowledge of behavior plan development, data analysis, and ABA methodologies
- Experience in Respite care, crisis intervention, or short-term behavioral support settings preferred
- Leadership or program development experience preferred
- Familiarity with California Regional Center systems and regulations preferred

Clinical Oversight & Program Development
- Review individualized client plans provided by state/regional agencies and translate them into effective, client-centered behavior intervention plans
- Develop and oversee implementation of behavior support plans for use by Behavioral Respite Professionals
- Ensure all interventions align with best practices in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Design and implement meaningful data collection systems tied to consumer goals (skill acquisition and behavior reduction)
- Monitor consumer progress through ongoing data review and adjust plans as needed
Staff Supervision & Training
- Provide clinical supervision to Behavioral Respite Professionals to ensure fidelity of behavior plan implementation
- Conduct competency assessments for Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) candidates in accordance with Behavior Analyst certification Board requirements
- Delivering ongoing supervision to RBTs, ensuring compliance with supervision standards
- Provide coaching, feedback, and performance support to staff across all levels
