Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manufacturing Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating maintenance for a tier 1 manufacturer of automotive parts with operations in injection molding, blow molding, paint, and light assembly.

Job duties include:

• Scheduling and coordination of all maintenance-related work by a team of maintenance technicians.
• Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to maintenance staff.
• Ensure all maintenance is completed in accordance with company policy and OSHA guidelines.
• Forecasting parts needs, ordering parts, and price negotiation for spare parts inventory.
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to identify potential issues before they occur, including inspections, lubrication, and component replacements. 
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, diagnose issues, and coordinate necessary repairs to minimize production downtime. 
• Identifying strengths and weaknesses with technicians to assign tasks appropriately and plan for individual technician growth.
• Ensure company resources are used in an effective manner.
• Consult subcontractors for specialized maintenance work and approve work of contractors.
• Look for new ways/tools/assets to improve productivity and cut costs.
• Draft maintenance reports.
• Other duties as required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational or College Degree in Industrial Maintenance is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in a leadership role
• Manufacturing maintenance is required, experience in automotive manufacturing maintenance is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
