Position: Senior Data Analyst

Duties: Analyzes and interprets information for one or more initiative work streams to improve business efficiency by using various analytical methodologies; developing creative solutions within business areas that reduce cost and/or meet business goals; using judgment to assign what activities must be done; and ensuring data accuracy. Develops and directs one or more work streams of a cross-functional project to achieve desired results by ensuring understanding of scope of work; organizing timelines and deliverables; facilitating meetings involving project teams to analyze, plan, and implement project initiatives; taking corrective action; and reporting results and deliverables to supervisors and stakeholders. Collaborates cross-functionally on assignments with internal and external stakeholders to understand the results of data analyses and research by communicating results and findings. Develops tools that support decision making and business cases by summarizing needed information; determining what information must be reported; ensuring customer needs are met; and analyzing an initiative's impact to the business. Assumes duties of Project Manager III, Innovation in the absence of the Project Manager III, Innovation by attending meetings; working directly with the project team members on specific projects and analyses; performing analyses; providing directional advice and guidance related to defined logistical issues; and determining which issues should be elevated to a higher priority.

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field plus 2 years of experience in data analytics or related experience.

Skills Required: Must have experience with: designing Data Visualizations using Tableau and Power BI; querying relational databases using SQL for data extraction and transformation; advanced exploratory data analysis using data cleansing, outlier detection, and statistical analysis; designing and automating data workflows using Tableau Prep; data analytics using Data warehousing and data integration platforms like Big Query, DBeaver, SSMS, and Excel; data governance principles to maintain data quality and security; implementing Lean, Six Sigma, Zero-loss principles and Statistical Process Control methodologies for process optimization; Project management methodologies, such as Agile & Scrum; implementing Continuous Improvement methodologies such as Kaizen, DMAIC, RCA, and PDCA; Data Mining, Algorithm development, Cost-benefit analysis, and Quantitative Analysis for data-driven decision making; Process Mapping and Value Stream Mapping (VSM), analyzing existing processes, and executing optimization projects; and supply chain management & change management principles to design, implement, execute, and sustain process improvements.
