What will you do as a Finance intern within Global IT?

• Support in financial analysis and control 

• Generate insights and recommendations

• Participate in process improvements and initiate projects

• Ensure procedures and processes are recorded  

• Improve information & performance management

• Document formal SOPs around finance processes

• Liaise with our local business and shared service team in India

What do we expect from you as a Finance intern within Global IT?

• 2nd or 3rd year HBO/WO-student in Finance, Accountancy, Economy, etc.

• Great analytical skills and accurate 

• Intermediate skills in Excel/Google Spreadsheets

• Flexible, communicative, analytical, pro active

• Fluent oral and written skills in English

• Strong affinity with IT

• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Results oriented through initiative, ownership, and accountability

• You are available full-time for at least 4 months;

What does your day look like?

As a Financial intern within Global IT, you will be supporting the Finance & Control team. The team may start the day by reviewing financial reports and identifying any irregularities. 

The day may also involve meeting (s) with other department heads to discuss financial matters. They may provide advice on cost reduction, such as enhancing process efficiency.  For example, they might identify opportunities to streamline IT Operations to reduce expenses. They also play a key role in budget planning and implementation.
