Brief Department Description
RTX Enterprise Services is looking for a highly motivated finance professional to lead the Business Services Order to Cash Commercial Team. The candidate will partner with internal stakeholders such as Businesses, Contracts, Accounting, Finance and Digital Technology along with external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include oversight and execution of multiple teams led by managers and/or supervisors, integrating new scopes of work into Order to Cash, developing long-term strategies for the team and partnering with other Order to Cash leaders on transformational projects.
The successful candidate must be able to work independently, be self-motivated, and comfortable with new challenges. Good communication and collaboration skills are a must, along with the ability to effectively interact with multiple layers of leadership and to make recommendations for appropriate solutions.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
- Leader responsible for the performance of the existing geographically distributed commercial billing, collections and cash application team, including development, training and career growth
- Partner and collaborate with key leaders in the Businesses to ensure seamless integration of services into the Order to Cash organization
- Implement new strategies and processes for the team to improve the current and newly established strategies and processes, including partnering with the international Order to Cash teams
- Ability to influence others, both within Order to Cash and within the Businesses to harmonize practices and policies
- Identify risks and resolve problems associated with key deliverables of projects
- Effectively manage competing priorities: successfully balance multiple projects and deadlines by prioritizing tasks, allocating resources efficiently, and adapting to shifting demands.
- Timely research, analyze and resolve complex customer challenges
- Drive change management and communication of major projects and activities
- Monitor the health of the organization through creation and monitoring of reports, analytics and key performance indicators
- Support audit and control discussions as a subject matter expert, and answer audit requests accurately and on time
- Regular interface with upper management and all functional areas, including, but not limited to Finance, Contracts, Accounting, Digital Technology and the Businesses
Qualifications you must have
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting or a directly related degree
- 12 years of directly related professional experience; OR 10 years of directly related professional experience and an advanced degree gained in a large corporate finance or accounting setting
- Strong knowledge of commercial billing, collections and cash applications
- Prior experience leading and developing teams
